Dear CCTIA members and members of the testing community, Please join us for a presentation by the California Construction and Industrial Materials Association (CalCIMA) regarding the Concrete Testing Adherence Collaboration (CTAC) program.  The CTAC program was started in Colorado in 2015.  Under the CTAC program ready mix concrete suppliers will observe testing by the testing agency’s technician and input into their database system the technicians certification number, whether sampling was performed correctly, whether testing and molding was performed correctly, and whether samples were stored in the initial curing environment.  The data will be provided to ready mix concrete suppliers, and they will be able to share data with laboratories and other testers as requested.  More details are available at their website www.concretetac.com and in the attached letter that has been received by several of our member firms. The board of CCTIA thought it would be useful to have CalCIMA explain the program to CCTIA members in a format where we could provide feedback and get answers to specific questions.
